This Privacy Policy explains how Walala (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use the LiveKit mobile application (the “App”). Media conversion and editing are designed to run on your device. We do not operate a backend that uploads your photos or videos for processing. Please also read our Children's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

1. Information We Process

Photo Library content you choose: videos, Live Photos, and images you select for conversion, editing, collage, GIF creation, screenshots, cover frames, mute, or export. Access requires your permission.
Exported files you save or share. Copies written to Photos or shared via the system share sheet stay under your control.
Purchase status processed by Apple through StoreKit when you buy Pro. We receive entitlement status needed to unlock features and do not receive your full payment card details.
Crash and performance data that Apple or the operating system may collect according to your device settings.
Advertising data collected by Google AdMob when ads are shown in the free experience, subject to Apple’s tracking rules and your App Tracking Transparency choice.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your photos or videos for advertising.

2. How We Use Information

Provide conversion, editing, export, and sharing features you request
Save results to your library or share sheet when you choose
Verify Pro entitlements and restore purchases
Improve stability and fix bugs
Show ads where applicable in the free experience

3. On-Device Processing

Photo and video processing for LiveKit features is intended to occur locally on your device. Your selected media is not uploaded to our servers for conversion because we do not provide such a server for that purpose. Temporary working files are discarded after export or when no longer needed. If you use iCloud backup, related App data may be included under Apple's policies.

4. Sharing

Apple — for App Store distribution, StoreKit purchases, the system photo library, and share destinations you pick
Google AdMob — for serving ads in the free experience, when permitted by platform rules and your choices
When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security

5. Data Retention

We do not maintain a separate user account database for LiveKit. Purchase records are retained by Apple under Apple’s policies. Uninstalling the App stops local processing.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). See the Children's Privacy Policy.

7. Your Choices

Deny or revoke Photo Library access in iOS Settings
Manage subscriptions and purchases in your Apple ID settings
Purchase Pro to remove ads
Limit ad tracking in iOS Settings
Uninstall the App to stop local processing

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date above will be revised when changes are published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
